Moisturizes well, and has a nice, light scentIt's a clean smelling product.I am so disappointed. This used to be my favorite lotion, but the last two bottles I received (with a new bottle design) was gross. The fragrance is AWEFUL! It doesn't smell like it used to which was a heavenly scent of roses. Now it's disgusting. I have to wash it off it's so bad. Even my cats won't allow me to pet them when I tried it.This is absolutely wonderful lotion. The best. Ever since discovering it, I will not ever be without my supply!However, it's mind boggling that the company would package this top-of-the-line lotion in such an inferior bottle. It's very difficult to squirt out, as the nozzle is set at an odd angle for dispensing, and the clear plastic cap that snaps onto the nozzle area, is so tightly fit, that twice I've ripped the entire nozzle off trying to get the plastic lid off! I've spilled/wasted precious lotion!I really wish the company would consider changing the bottle.1/12/15:I thought I'd come back and update my review. I love this lotion and my only negative point was the packaging -- specifically the delivery spout and spout cover. Well, it seems they've updated their bottle design (hooray!) and now instead of having the nozzle at an odd "tipped" angle, it's now straight up and down and squirts out perfectly and easily. The nozzle cover is also much improved! Kudos where deserved. I'm now very happy with both my lotion AND their packaging!Weleda never lets me down. Fantastic products.Thin solution, but not watery. Very moisturizing, sinks into skin quickly and easily. Doesn't provide any warmth, but I was not expecting that at all. Amazing scent and subtle for a couple minutes before it dissipates with absorption. I love this lotion and it is great for daily use on hands and body. Works well with dry, winter conditions to ease painful, cracked skin. Especially with how much sanitizer used nowadays. I would definitely recommend.I have been experimenting with different chemical-free body lotions so thought, since I like Weleda Calendula Body Wash, I'd try their Body Lotion. There are quite a few versions to choose from so I went with the Evening Primrose Age Revitalizing Body Lotion and have been using it for about three weeks. At first, I wasn't sure what I thought of it; I didn't really like the scent (but that's personal) and wasn't sure how well it worked. I have come to expect that body lotions without chemicals do not have the "staying power" that the chemicalized ones do, however, after using it a few weeks, the Weleda is pretty good. My skin looks and feels less dry and it lasts; the scent is growing on me as well. Four stars b/c I'm still in the "wait-and-see" stage.It smells amazing like citrus. I don’t like thick, sticky moisturizers and this one is perfect. It dries quickly but you feel moisturized. I normally have very dry itchy skin. I’m pregnant so i wanted to try something natural and non toxic so this is perfect for me.Ich liebe diese Bodylotion von Weleda, sie duftet toll, pflegt meine trockene Haut und zieht schnell ein.. aber jetzt kommt’s:Ich habe eben bei meiner Weleda Body Lotion den Dosierverschluss abgemacht, weil sie leer war und ich noch den Rest an der Flaschenwand benutzen wollte. Da ist mir eine seltsame Plastikfolie innerhalb der Flasche aufgefallen, die von der Innenseite Abstand. Ich habe mich gewundert und gefragt, ob mit dieser Folie dann trotzdem 200ml in die Flasche passen. Ich habe sie mit Wasser gefüllt, ca. 180ml Wasser passen hinein, keine 200ml, so wie es auf der Packung steht.Für über 12,- würde ich doch erwarten, dass drin ist, was drauf steht.Zudem ist bei einer „Biomarke“ wie Weleda eine zusätzliche Plastikfolie im Inneren doch irgendwie noch seltsamer!!This is handsdown become my favourite body lotion and I’ll probably never use another one. I’ve tried many many different ones trying to find the right formula for my skin and think this is the one. It’s not too thick so actually absorbs. Non-greasy but leaves your skin silky to the touch and glowing. I love the smell. I can only liken it to a sort of orange-y smell with a twist. The pump doesn’t clog and gives the right quantity/dose for each limb. Anyway, no complaints, big win for me.This product is simply incredible. I apply it all over my body and on my feet. I noticed that it keeps my skin feeling soft and has helped remove the hard skin on the soles of my feet. It has a a nice fresh fragrance which is not too overpowering. It is great to use on stretch marks and the bottle lasts for a very long time. I only just recently purchased another bottle after my first one had finished.I like the texture of this lotion, it is smooth and not too runny and sinks in well leaving no sticky feeling. My skin feels very soft and well moisturised after using it but I can't say I've noticed any "age revitalising" effect! The only thing I have against it is the smell - not pleasant and a bit strange. Fortunately it wears off quite quickly.My other gripe is the bottle. It has a smooth, close fitting cap which is awkward to remove but the worst thing is the pump itself. It has a very short, almost non-existent nozzle which means the lotion, which comes out very gently, runs down the bottle instead of into you hand. I find it impossible to use with the bottle upright.Even thought the lotion is nice, I won't be buying it again.I love the smell of this product. Good for men and women. I also appreciate that is is chemical free and, being from Weleda, it is also bio dynamic. This means it is organic, but even better than that, as the plants used to make it were grown with the phase of the moon, and magical processes added to the soil and even harvested at phase of the moon that ensure the plant is at its optimal. Biodynamic is even better than organic. It is the best you can buy for yourself.The one thing I would like to change though, is the packaging. I would like it to be in a glass jar, as I am trying to avoid buying any more products in plastic.
