I normally wear a woman's 11M, and I have large calves. I ordered 12W because boots usually run more narrow, and I like to wear thick socks with my boots. These are perfect for that. I also can wear them with skinny jeans tucked into them. If you have large calves (mine are 18" around), these are wonderful. They are nicely made and look like real leather (and they are!).
