It's Ok..... if you are not putting to much efforts on a rose this will be Ok...... still I think is better for when you have kids wanting to help or when you are whiling to do the work but not expecting a Wow! type of rose, it does require some work, cut, shape with the ball on top of the foam, fold, glue, roll, glue then shape petals..... after you get the hang of it, it becomes a little less annoying. in my personal opinion with other methods you still do all this and archive the WOW rose that you won't with this item. Overall is good for beginners so they get use to the hang of this complex but rewarding process of making sugar Roses lol!I love to decorate cakes, cupcakes and cookies but I find it takes me a while to create roses out of fondant and gumpaste. I saw this tool advertised on YouTube and everyone who knows me knows that I am the gadget queen!! I ordered the set and I am extremely glad that I did, they work beautifully!! Even my 96 year young mother-in-law who lives with us can now make roses easily also! I will now order the larger one. I wish this company would make tools like this for all of the other common flowers, it would sure magke a decorators life much easier and we would be able to finish our projects much more quickly. Buy one, you won't be disappointed.I have always had trouble making Roses. I have tried countless different ways and methods of making them Roses and have never been happy with my end result.....Until Now !!! The Easiest Rose cutter set is Amazing....Google it and watch the u tube video on how to use it....it is SO EASY !!! See my picture of the roses I made the 1st time trying these cutters. For these roses I used the small double set of cutters and for the bigger roses I used the larger single cutter that you can also buy here on Amazon. So if you avoid making roses cause you just can't get them to look right.....Get these cutters....you'll be SO HAPPY you did !!!Meh. I'd read where this product would save me time in the bakery from making sugar paste roses by hand. And while it does create a rose (with a super thick bottom) I'm at a loss because they are not as attractive as our by hand ones. I think I might need to continue to spend time playing with them and different fondant thinness and types to really get an idea of how it can help! I'll update my review then!I have been making roses piece by piece for years but since I got this tool I will never go back. I would recommend this to everyone who does cake. It make the most beautiful roses plus you get two different sizes n you can make them so fast it's wonderful. I can not wait to show my grand daughter that she can even make these beautiful roses.thank youMakes nice roses but not as easy to make perfect as they show in the video - the bottom is very chunky and square when you're done.There are not as easy as I was hoping and dont look that real but if you in a hurry uou might like them.The flower is not as fine as doing it the old fashion way. Be aware that the bottom of the flower cannot show, so any design where the flower has to lay on its side has to be done in the petal by petal method.I normally make flower paste roses the traditional way, creating the petals individually. This makes nice little roses in less than half the time, so great if you need to cover a cake with a cascade of blooms.Took a few attempts to get the roses ? right, but once I got the hang of it, it worked well.Wow these work like a dream. So impressed. Love itI've yet to use this, but my daughter's really excited as it's to make roses for her birthday cake (her middle name's Rose) and it looks much easier than making individual petals. Looking forward to trying it out, hoping it will save lots of time!this is the easiest rose ever to make , anyone who has nt a lot of time to make roses with individual petals, go for this its soooo easy, x
