This is a perfect robe for southern climes. I bought it for my Florida home, where I intend to leave it. It is comfortable and elegant. (Up north, I have a much heavier Derek Rose flannel robe, which I bought in Montreal about 20 years ago and is still in very good shape. That goes to show what high quality DR is.) One caution: this robe seems to fit small. Extra large is not big on me - about 190 pounds and 5'10". The flannel one is also extra large but is huge on me. I would suggest getting one size bigger than you think you need if you get this one.This robe is obviously very expensive but it’s well made. I disagree with the reviewer who recommended ordering a size up - I did that and was swimming in the thing. I’m 6’3 and weigh about 195 pounds and the medium is plenty big for me. There’s even a bit of extra length in the sleeves to accommodate shrinking when I wash it, and I have long arms so that’s rare for me.This is what I’d consider a medium-weight robe, so don’t get it if you want something either extra warm or extra thin. But if you want a quality, all-season robe, you’ll probably like this.Note that the pictures don’t show the tiny white dots that are part of the fabric.
