These curtains look great in the kitchen; really brighten's it up. They are made of high quality material and the colors are perfect! We only got the swags and valance for each window, so more light could get thru and we could still see outside. They "frame" the windows beautifully! The only downside was that the first shipment was lost, but the seller once notified got a replacement order shipped the next day. We are very happy with our choice of curtains and the overall buying experience.First, let me say that the curtains are very pretty. That said, they are not the quality I expected. These are to replace some old kitchen curtains. The ends are not even hemmed, just edged with serge stitch and the material is thin. I don't mind the thin material but I don't know how they will be after a wash and dry without a full hem. These are no better than the sets that sell for a much lower price and you have to buy each part separately.I get a lot of compliments on this curtain and valance set. When I had my kitchen renovated, I had the walls painted a pale lemon cream color, and I wanted old-fashioned curtains to bring back the retro look of my 1940s house. These curtains are perfect! They brighten up the room and give it that cheery, sunshiny look of the 1940s kitchen. The curtains are well-made and washable (although I haven't washed them yet). I'm very glad I found them on Amazon.I guess I should have known better given the low price. It's ok for now, but pretty poorly made. But it's cheap, so ya know, whatever. The trim isn't lined up with the rest of the curtain, it sticks out beyond the rest of the curtain on both ends. Both on the bottom and the top. Cute design though.I ordered the 24" tier, the swags, and the valence. I'll be honest. These are terrible quality. I have literally gotten better curtains from the dollar store. Loose threads everywhere, places where stitching completely fell out, poor quality fabric... The fabric they are made with is a very cheap feeling poly/cotton wide weave. The flowers and gingham are printed on on only one side. While this is okay for the darker florals and leaves, it made the yellow gingham VERY pale and anemic. The fabric was also very stiff and I could not get it to drape like in the picture. I am glad the other reviewers are enjoying these curtains, but I'm pretty surprised they were rated so well. Maybe they recently changed manufacturers?I hate being so negative, so let's talk about the positives: shipping was very quick. I ordered them the 10th and they weren't due until the 20th. They arrived the 13th.I bought them for my mom and she loved them. Nice elegant look.Love these! The perfect touch for my new home, these give my kitchen the homey country look I was going for.good prices, arrived promptly, was a little disappointed in the quality for me the curtain was a bit more sheer than I had hoped for.
