Up for sale is one pack of 50 Dark Rose Stock Flower Seeds (Matthiola Incana). These create large blooms in blue/lavender on 16" stems. Very long lasting as a cut flower in the vase as stock is one of the most fragrant cut flowers.
PLEASE NOTE: You can not start stock in late spring or hot summer months as they require 60 days of cool temperatures to germinate and flower correctly.
Stock requires cool temperatures to germinate and grow, and we find they are best seeded in trays or pots about 6 weeks before your last frost in the spring. The seeds require light for germination so when we start them in trays we sow them on the surface of our potting material and then cover them very lightly with sand or vermiculite. They are quick to germinate but slow to grow.
