I’ve been filling a large annual order for a few years now and I’ve always used the IA pewter blanks because they (usually) stamp like butter. The IA blanks I received for this year’s order are a considerably thinner gauge. So much so that I can bend them with my fingers.I had some left over from last year’s order and I was able to compare them side by side (photo). The blank from last year is on the left and this year is on the right. In addition to the thinner blanks, they also seem to have a thin coating on them that is peeling off on several. You can see the excess of whatever it is in the second photo. (in the hole for the jump ring)Overall very disappointed. This was not an industry that I expected would be subject “shrinkflation”. I’d rather pay a little more to maintain consistent quality as a vendor.
