Not overwhelming but pleasant and distinctive.Love itThis is very expensive for a tiny candle (see pic next to a soda can for sizing reference), but I took my chance anyway. Given the price, I expected more from it and from the brand. While it burns clean, the smell is very harsh and chemical. Maybe, it's this particular scent, but I'm not happy with the purchase. The vessel and the presentation are great. The wax is a high quality one. But I can't get over its smell: it gives me a headache. It smells like men's cologne: it's not bad, but it's not a cozy and luxurious vibe that I expected.As excited I was to get this for a friend's birthday, I was deflated yo see how tiny it was when it arrived. For ybe cost, I was expecting a medium to semi-large sized candle. This one is the size of something I could find at Walmart for >$3 and the smell isn't very unique. Quite disappointing but ill still give it as a gift (but now have to get more things to make up for the size).wax are slightly detached from the glass, leaving a rim of gap in between. other than that the scent and candle itself is good quality.I love this candle, the smell, look etc…I have about 20% of the candle left, wicks looks fine but it will n longer light! I always trim wicks before using and have never run into this before.Not only are these candles aesthetically pleasing, the quality of the burn is unparalleled. Gently scented, they warm heart and home. The environmental practices of Scandinavisk make the purchase meaningful. Quick shipping by a reliable vendor.My Skandinavisk candle arrived intact and the scent is so fresh and lovely! Their candles have a great throw and the scent is impactful without being intrusive.Very very small, fits in the palm of my hand. Understand this is my mistake for not checking properly however it makes it very poor value for money and images and price give the appearance it is much larger. Not lit it yet as it does smell nice but doubt I will get more than a few uses out of it so will save for a better occasion. Also lid falls off even when moved slightly so completely pointless. Delivered fast.This candle is tiny about 6cm high. It has no perfume/smell at all. A real con for £18.BE AWARE - NEW DESIGN AND WAX THAT WILL NOT BURN TO THE EDGES.I've had many of the Skandvisk candles before, not had a problem and really like a few of the scents, I noticed a very slight increase in diameter with the more recent ones I've purchased and it's these ones I advise you to be weary of. They simply will not burn to the edges, no matter what I do, where I put it, room temperature, length of wick, the first burn - nothing will help and I had no such problems with the previous size and type of wax they used in the slightest.I have contacted Skandvisk about this and after acknowledging I had followed all of the advice they gave regarding the correct way to burn a candle they let slip that along with the diameter of the containers changing slightly (increasing) that the wax they use has also changed with the newer design. I strongly suggest against buying these now as a majority of the wax which lies around the edges will just go to waste and at this price point expect far more.Skandvisk offered me 10% off my next purchase if I made it direct with them but why would I want to purchase something that in my opinion is a complete waste of money and have already wasted £100's on as I brought a variety before Christmas and all are the new size and wax.FUMING!This is a beautifully scented candle that is sweet apple and with a hint of blossom. Open the box and remove the thin lid and envelope your senses in the powerful scent; it is delicious and a pity to set light to it in a sense, albeit safe in the knowledge you can get another.Size wise, it is a smallish candle but on a par with the size of others at this quality level and price bracket. It is a beautiful thing and would make a great gift, which you can size up by adding further items from the range that are in the same or an alternative scent.I don’t often consider keeping the glass jars once a candle has been used up, but this one looks nice and I might just do that when the time comes.All I’ll say is look at the dimensions before buying!! I thought this was going to be a lot bigger judging by the price but it’s really tiny, fits in the palm of my hand (and I’ve got small hands). The lid is very loose - smells lovely though.
