I originally purchased this to use as an eye shadow, because I like using blush colors for my eyes. However, it ended up being a tad too warm for what I wanted. So then I tried it on my cheeks, just to see. Normally I never wear blush because I've struggled with rosacea on my cheeks for so long that I have an aversion to any sort of redness. I was pleasantly surprised by how subtle and natural this blush was. As someone who is extremely pale and has cool undertones, it's hard to find makeup that adds warmth to my face without looking orangey/yellow. This does the trick. It's buildable and gives you nice easy control of how much of a flushed look you want. Plus, it lasts all day for me, which is surprising given I'm usually a strictly powder makeup person because of how oily my face can get. Overall, I'd say that for the price you really can't beat this blush.For years I'd been using Benefit's Posie Tint cheek/lip color. It's a very bright pink color which gives the face a nice fresh look. I decided to take a chance on this blush since the price was right & I wanted a cream rather than a powder. I believe the name of this beautiful blush is "Soft Rose". I was surprised went I got it home & it looked like a pink & peachy color! Turns out the color is gorgeous! Gives the cheeks a healthy peachy pink believable glow & blends easily & isn't gooey or sticky! You only need a light swipe of the finger for each cheek. This will last a nice long time. May be my new favorite blush! So glad I took a chance!I ordered both the peach and the rose. I like both of them, very natural and long lasting on me. Last month I went on vacation and packed the peach blush and only a dark red lip stick and NO eye shadow (horrors!). So I used the peach blush as my blush, then used it as a top coat to lighten the dark lip stick and best of all, I used it as my eye shadow. OMG, it is now my FAVORITE eye shadow~ (I have dark hair and medium light skin tones and hazel green eyes. It looks really good on me.) SO, both colors are my favorite natural looking blushes and the peach is now my main eye shadow. Haven't tried the rose as an eye shadow, yet. that might be too weird. I know sounds strange but it really works for me (stays on real well as an eye shadow-no creasing and is long lasting.)Just after the first of the year, I treated myself by using my Amazon Prime membership to purchase some new makeup! I've never ordered makeup online before, but knowing most of my selections could be returned, I felt confident enough to try it!Also,a few of the companies offered a kind of virtual setup that allowed me to "try before I buy"! All I had to do was find their model whose skin tones and hair coloring was closest to mine and try my selection on her! As a result, I chose to keep everything I ordered!!I'm beginning to LOVE technology!!I guess I didn't read the description very well as I wasn't expecting a cream. I almost returned it but decided for the price it wasn't worth it, so I got my cosmetic sponge out and gave it a shot. Glad I did! The color is nice ( Soft Rose) and works for me. After blending I use a little Burt Bees powder if needed.I bought this product and the Honest brand cream blush to see which I liked best. The smell of the ELF blush was not my favorite. The color I purchased, Soft Rose, was not awesome with my skin tone (very pale). It’s not easy to blend using my fingers or a brush, and I ended up wiping away foundation when trying to apply it. I also felt like by the end of the day it was completely gone, and that was with a stay matte spray by ELF. On the other hand, the Honest brand I purchased was a much better match for me in color, blend-ability, smell, and longevity. I do have a combination skin. Just the experience of a 39 year old. ?This is very creamy and lives up to it's name of "bare blush". It's light and subtle which gives you a nice, barely there, color. You can add more, but when you're looking for a natural look, don't over do it. Although it's creamy, it goes on relatively dry, and that's a good thing because it lasts a long time. I tried it as a lipstick and it didn't come off on tissue. I also tried a little touch of gloss over it and it looked even better. For those of us who want a very "less is more" look, this is perfect! This color will probably look good on any skin tone or with any hair color, because it's so natural looking.I have VERY DRY skin right now and needed to put all of my powder products on the back burner. I'm using this on top of a tinted moisturizer and love the way it looks. It can be applied with a heavy or light hand and blends out beautifully. I like that it looks like a fresh wash of color and not like it's just sitting on top of my skin. I didn't notice any smell at all and it didn't cause any breakouts. I love that it doesn't have any shimmer and the firm creamy texture is easy to apply, gives you enough time to blend, and dries quickly. I have VERY light skin and the shade looks natural. The rosy color looks nice and not too red for my pale skin.Really nice product, will be buying again. Nice colour, it’s a cream/gel that blends in easily and won’t dry out your skin. It’s light weight and has no smell.What I like about elf products I have used so far they do exactly what they say will do. So I will trust to try other products from the range, I am a elf fan. SoGorgeous creamy glow , exactly what I was looking for .Very soft colour for lips and cheeksEasy to use with finger or dabbing with a brush. Buildable colour. Nice change from pink blushes
