Ordered this for my son to wear on his suit to a school dance. Pleased with purchase. Worked out great.Nicely made perfect size. It's a true white color!I like to derss well when I go to Church . Thease roses are well made , I have several of them , they set my suits off just right. Rickey W.I thought this may add a great touch to my suit lapel. Boy was I in for a surprise. I ordered the exact same color as my suit so it looked like it was made for my particular suit. I have received dozens of compliments. I wasn't sure at first to buy the exact color as my suit or an abstract color. It seems to me that it should match either the suit or the necktie color. I like the way they compliment each other.I particularly like that this doesn't have that long stick pin like others on the market. This Jacob Alexander satin rose has a small pin that is hardly visible anywhere. Just pin in into the hole on the jacket lapel and you are done. Will buy other colors as well for my new collection.When this "flower" actually arrived it was just a little too pointy in the bottom right hand corner. Much more than in the picture, then the fold on the upper left was much more open and not as tight. It looked like some kind of ribbon, you know like something you might remember someone who died with cancer or something, that had gotten cancer itself. It didn't really look "flower-y", but it may just have been the one that I got. Maybe they all don't look that way? Anyway, I sadly sent mine back, as soon as I got it ... same day. ***UPDATE: Still hoping to get this really nice looking flower, I reordered the light purple one (i forget the official color). Sadly, it too had almost exactly the same loose effect. It did not really look like the picture either. It was more loosely put together and looked very non-flower like. I ended up buying a totally different style for $4.99 and it sure looked a lot nicer... sadly.It matched perfectly.Smaller than i wanted. Probably need three to complete the full look I want.IT IS ALWAYS COOL TO ADD A TOUCH OF CLASSTO ONES HABILIMENTSLike I saw in a previous review that the flower is very nice and I like the fastening device which you pinch to put on the back of the pin, but my issue with the flower was that there was extra fabric sticking out and you could see the white felt backing in one area and there was some extra glue hanging off....it required some pruning with a cuticle scissors. I am not sure I would buy again.This is a well crafted button hole flower. Its classy without drawing to much attention. I wanted something to fill the lapel hole in my wedding suit and this fits the bill. Exactly as described would recommend this to anyone in doubtThe rose was good but there was a piece of paper behind it I needed to cut off myself, overall it was a good product
