There are a LOT of different styles of Rose Petals tall boots on Amazon, and it seems that despite the detailed information given with each listing, there is considerable inconsistency in both calf and foot, which is why I've taken off a star. From the many reviews I read and the reality of the three different pairs I've tried, it seems to me that Rose Petals Regular calf is 15-16", wide is 17-18" depending on style, and extra wide is 19" or 21" depending on style. Given the number of reviews that complain the listing has the shaft circumferences wrong I'm not sure how helpful that is, but for what it's worth...!!I wound up having to try three pairs to get the one that fit (thank you, Amazon Prime!):Pair #1 (made in China): Sammi, in an extra wide calf - HUGE (I could fit a hand inside them, even over pants). Returned.Pair #2 (made in Brazil): Curly (this listing), in an alleged wide calf. This was my favorite style of the three - and also the one with the best footbed - but although I could get them zipped they were just too tight in the leg; while there is a small elastic gore, it's too small to provide enough give to make them comfortable for extended wear, and they'd never have worked over jeans or leggings. Returned.Pair #3 (made in Spain): Chelsea, in a wide calf. Just right! They're not quite as comfortable as the Curly (the heel looks the same, but the cut of the ankle is a bit different which I guess is what changes it), but they fit well and the leg is perfect. Keepers (especially on sale for $45!).
