Could be more widerThe heel is SO TIGHT I have to keep bending it in hopes it will loosen. But very cute and comfortable other than the heelI usually read as many reviews as possible to gage how I should size my order and most of the time, the reviews are pretty accurate. These shoes are great…comfy and super cute but all of the people saying you need to “size up” and “order wide” were way off. I wear a size 9 in almost every shoe and the 9.5 W I purchased is HUGE! I had to send back for a regular 9, so I would recommend ordering your normal size first!Clark's always fit me. I was thrilled to see them at this price. WHAT A VALUE!!First, I'll say that these shoes are really cute. The color and print matched perfectly and the shape is great. I wear a 7 1/2 and they are on the roomier side. I have a medium width foot, use a footbed insert and wear a thin sock but these still flop off my heel. I will return and order a new pair in a smaller size.Secondly, one of the shoes was damaged. As you can see in the pic, there is a cut in the fabric on the right shoe. Also, the left shoe is "broken in" and much looser than the right. Given that the tag on the sole of the shoe is worn, I suspect that the left shoe was a floor model. The other shoe fits as expected but is a generous 7 1/2 so if you are considering sizing up, there is no need.I always wear size 8 in closed toe shoes, sometimes can pull off 7.5 in sandals. In EU sizes I am a 38.5 but since they don’t do half sizes, I usually get 39. After reading all the reviews saying these ran small and narrow, I ordered 8.5 (box said 39.5) but they turned out to be huge! So back they went and I got 8 (box said 39) and those were indeed TINY AND NARROW! So so weird. Then my third try was 8 WIDE (again box says 39 ??♀️) and now these finally fit great. So my advice: maybe instead of a size up, order wide width?These shoes are absolutely adorable, well constructed and fit like a dream. I ordered 9W and, for me, the fit was dead on. One thing to note, that may or may not matter to you, it's difficult to see in the pics, but the leopard print is lightly distressed in places. Gives it that cute "vintage" look that I really like, but your mileage may vary. I'm super pleased with these loafers and would definitely order again.Overall I like the shoe and how it fits but the color is dark olive and not what I expected. Had to send it back. :(These loafers are beautiful. BUT.......I've never had to buy a wide-width shoe in my life; however, I had no choice with these. My regular size is an 8 (8.5 depending on the shoe or if I need more room). Reviews said to order up, so I ordered 8.5. People who said these were small were not exaggerating at all! The 8.5 regular-width shoes were INCREDIBLY narrow AND I couldn't even get my toes inside! It's not that they were tight fitting, they didn't fit AT ALL. The exchange program was very fast and easy, and I have since ordered a 9.5 in wide width. I will see if those actually fit. It was very odd to order my size in Clark's shoes and have the sizing so wonky.Too small, this shoe is not standard sizing. Disappointing. I wear a 7 - I ordered 7M it fits like a '6'. I never return unfortunately my loss. I expected more from Clarke's.The right shoe is slightly larger which leads me to believe they have been worn. I will cure it with an insole however for a Clark brand pair I would have expected better.If I could choose 2 sizes under product fit, I would have said both large and small.I read the reviews carefully and ordered my usual size 9, but decided to order wide erring on others advice. Too big. Was stepping out of them from the heel.Ordered an 8 wide, can’t even get my foot in properly.I give up.Was not sure about the size but ordered half a size larger and wide fitting based on reviews. Insoles very comfortable. Fits a just little loose with nice room for toes.
