I can always rely on Herschel branded products to give me the best protection and quality whether it is a backpack or a laptop case. I was on the hunt for a lightweight backpack for my trip to Japan. I wanted something lightweight because I knew I would be doing a lot of walking and I did not want sore shoulders from carrying a heavy backpack. This packable dayback from Herschel is the PERFECT travel companion!! It is super super light and easy to pack into a suitcase when not being in use. The material is super flexible, so I was able to fit everything inside! I will now list my PROS & CONS for this backpack.PROS:+Lightweight material---it is so light! I never once had the tired shoulders feeling from carrying a heavy backpack even when I had so much stuff in it!+Portability--this backpack is ultra portable! I used it as a carryon bag, however, if I did not, I could of easily packed it into my suitcase as it is so small and compact and foldable!+Lots of space--I was quite surprised about the amount of space this backpack had! It is very spacious, yet light at the same time!+Lightweight straps--the straps are a bit thin and flimsy, but they are lightweight, which is a big plus! They aren't the strongest but they are meant for light weight backpacks.CONS:-Material is not waterproof--it looks waterproof, but it is not-(not really a con) but when you receive this backpack, it comes folded. When you unfold it, it will be very very wrinkled. If you do not like the wrinkled looked, I suggest that you open it a few days before a trip and stuff the backpack so it gets unwrinkled.Overall, I am very very impressed by this backpack. I love its ultra light feeling. I used it everywhere I went in Japan! In Japan, it is known to be very cramped and small esp on the trains, and I was still able to fit around places with this backpack because it was so lightweight and portable. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for the ultimate backpack that is lightweight, roomy, and portable. This backpack is for you!
