Unlike other reviewers, I didn't find these shoes to run small. I have a true size 7.5 shoe, and the LEFT shoe fit exactly right. There's another reviewer who noted that the right shoe fit bigger than the left shoe, despite her right foot being longer than her left foot, and I had the exact same experience. The left shoe fits, and the right is lose and slides off the back of my ankle when I'm walking. Why they made the right shoe bigger than the left is a mystery to me as that goes against most peoples anatomical makeup.The black color was true to to the image on Amazon.I have high arches, and these shoes definitely have no arch support, but that isn't the biggest problem to me. The backs of these flats have no cushioning and cut my ankles. I will attempt breaking them in, but I foresee nasty shoe bites on the horizon.All in all, I'm not happy with my purchase and would never buy these again or recommend them. I'm lucky I got these on sale for $50. If I had paid $145 like another review, I would be pretty upset.Good for wide feet. This is a replacement pair as I wear these shoes often. Good quality, I like that they are made of real leather (leather footwear seems harder and harder to find). Gave 4 stars because the heel area is wide and I've had to use heel grips. A small adjustment for good quality, leather flats. Bonus- wide feet don't look like boats in these- they are super cute and I've received many compliments when I wear them.I'm typically a 81/2 but have never purchased this brand before so I didn't know they'd be too small. These have cushioning inside but I was surprised to find negligible arch support inside. At $145 and a name like "Walking Cradles", I'd expect more inside the shoe.This was the second pair of Rose Petals I bought to replace the first pair that was too large even though I bought my usual size of 8 wide. These were a 7.5 wide and they were way too small in the toe area, everywhere else fit fine. I really wish they would have fit because they are so well made, loved the material and they are so cute - very stylish even though they are just a plain black flat. Bummer!These shoes are exactly what I looked for in a flat. It is dressy enough to use with dresses and skirts, yet comfortable enough for a walking shoe. It is a 'tad tight", but after one wearing stretched enough to fit my foot well. It also has support for your foot which is better than the usual flat shoe. Love the looks and comfort.They were too big in 9N. Also, the front of the shoes goes higher up the foot than many other ballet flats. I though the styling was staid looking.Nice material; liked the metallic grey. They were returned.Price was great but unfortunately the size was too small and moreover, the style was much more matronly than I expected. Packaged back to return the same night I received it.I can wear Rose Petals shoes in a size 9 extra wide with stockings and a 91/2 extra wide without, but these feel a bit narrow in the 91/2.
