I've known about this movie since when it was first released into the theaters, but never took the time back then to go see it. Finally bought this copy and sat down and watched it! WOW it's a great movie. I'm a medical professional and while I never worked on a psych ward, I did have to do some months of training on a locked ward in the 70's. This movie brought back all kinds of memories from that locked ward so many years ago.The acting was great in this movie, really great! The ending was really good, it gave lots of hope. Schizophrenia is a horrid disease and recoveries can take many years even though the treatments have changed greatly. If you have never seen this, BUY IT AND WATCH IT!!!
